Dolce Music Academy (DMA) is a music school boasting many professional and talented instructors. The founding principal, Mr Zhao, is an outstanding musician with abundant teaching experience. He performed at Yo-Yo Ma's music festival in 2019, as well as other orchestra and solo performances in Asia.

Dolce Music Academy also invites instructors from various highly acclaimed institutions to conduct master classes, such as Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music (NUS), Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Royal College of music and Trinity in the United Kingdom (UK), Hong Kong performing arts and so on.

Our classes are catered to our students' needs are careful consideration. We not only focus on the technical aspects of learning an instrument, but also explore various music inspirations with our students, allowing them to find interest in what they are playing. We want to encourage our students to enjoy the music they make with us.

We have customized teaching plans for each student, including a beginner's course for young children aged 5 to 12, ABRSM and Trinity graded official examinations from Grade 1 to diploma. Group theory lessons and private music lessons are available.

For those who wish to explore their interest or hobby in music making,

pop music classes are also available.

Mr. Zhao taught me oboe in 2011 and is teaching me piano since 2015.

He's a wonderful teacher! He's inspiring: whatever he plays sound so beautiful, he inspires me to imitate him! He makes the most difficult pieces look simple! His EQ is fantastic! He's very encouraging and he helps me overcome difficult passages by finding ways I can manage without compromising on the music!

His sight--reading is awesome! sometimes I surprise him with new books or pieces which he has not heard of, he plays with perfect ease without any hesitation! His teaching is fun! He lets me learn all the pieces I want to and gently pushes me to levels I did not I can achieve! There's much laughter in his class and all the students (& parents) come out of his class smiling happily.

An excellent teacher like Mr. Zhao is indeed precious! I have had other teachers in my young adult years but none come close to him. I always look forward to my class and wish many more students come to learn from him and appreciate what a great & inspiring teacher he is!
